BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell shares show future update after pregnancy announcement - Liverpool Echo

Dianne Buswell has shared an update on her Strictly Come Dancing future after announcing she is pregnant. The current Glitterball holder yesterday shared the incredible family news she is expecting her first child with partner, Joe Sugg.

The two met when they were paired together on the 2018 edition of the show and have gone to build a happy life together away from the dancefloor. They shared a short clip with the Instagram followers on Sunday as Joe said: "Our little baby boy. We cannot wait to meet you."

Strictly co-stars flooded the comments to react to the happy news as Amy Dowden said: "Still screaming, dancing and celebrating! So so happy for you both! Magical Auntie Ames can't wait."

Stacey Dooley commented: "YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES." Ellie Leach posted: "CRYING. Congratulations, you will be the most incredible parents, so happy."

Shirley Ballas posted: "Ahhhh congratulations to you both @diannebuswell @joe_sugg. Such beautiful news x" Gorka Marquez added: "Oh this is the best news!!! BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH."

Dianne has confirmed the heartwarming family news will not impact her involvement in the upcoming season of Strictly, which gets underway on Saturday, September 20.

She shared a snap on her Instagram Story to confirm she was heading into rehearsals ahead of the first way. She posted a selfie with her followers, alongside the caption: "Rehearsal day number 1."

The new season of Strictly gets underway this weekend as Dianne will hope to retain the Glitterball she so memorably won with Chris McCausland last year.
