The Married at First Sight UK star is set to walk down the aisle in the upcoming tenth season

Married at First Sight UK is set to welcome a fresh group of brides and grooms walking down the aisle later this month.

The forthcoming tenth series will broadcast on E4 from Sunday, September 21st, featuring 18 new participants wed to complete strangers.

Paired by specialists, the courageous singletons meet each other for the first time at the ceremony before moving in together.

The show's relationship experts Paul C Brunson, Charlene Douglas and Mel Schilling will support them through their newfound marriages.

This year's cast includes 29-year-old aesthetic practitioner Maeve Mathieson from Newcastle, reports OK!.

She's branded as a "self-confessed trouble maker" seeking a "mature relationship".

Whilst Maeve sports a distinctive brunette style in the programme, the television personality appears virtually unrecognisable in throwback photographs from almost three years ago.

In December 2022, she sported a blonde fringe in an Instagram snap, accompanied by the cheeky caption "don't be jealous".

The emerging reality television figure appears to have experimented with numerous looks vastly different from her present appearance.

Throughout the years, she's shared images showcasing everything from sleek straight dark locks to face-framing blonde streaks.

Nevertheless, she joined the E4 programme sporting a timeless dark brown cut.

Following last week's cast announcement, Maeve turned to Instagram to break the news to her supporters.

The Geordie lass shared a photo of herself in a wedding gown and exclaimed: "SURPRISE. Not gonna lie....I did a thing," before revealing that she "only went and got MARRIED on telly".

She added: "Catch me causing pure carnage on #mafsuk soon on E4."

The other cast members include grooms Paul, Ashley, Davide, Divarni, Keye, Steven, Joe, Bailey and Dean.

And the brides are Rebecca, Grace, Leigh, Maeve, Neelima, Julia-Ruth, Anita, Sarah and Leah.

Expert Paul has teased that the upcoming series will be 'one of the most memorable' in the reality show's history.

While appearing on ITV's Lorraine on 12th September, he told host Ranvir Singh: "I will say this, I'm going on the record, but I believe that this will be not only one of the most memorable Married At First Sight series in history but our reunion will be the most memorable reunion in Married At First Sight history."
