Egobounds and Alibi Games have announced that their upcoming hard-boiled platformer, Egging On, will launch on November 6, 2025, for Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox Game Pass. The news was revealed during the ID@Xbox Fall Showcase, alongside a brand new release trailer giving players a closer look at the game's quirky yet challenging world.

Developed by the Polish studio Egobounds, Egging On is a Foddian-style platformer that puts players in control of a fragile egg determined to escape its fate. Balancing precision and patience, players must jump, roll, and climb through a series of demanding environments that include a farm, a shop, a factory, and other hazardous areas. Every movement counts, as one wrong move could send your delicate shell tumbling back to the start.

The game embraces both frustration and triumph, rewarding persistence as players attempt to conquer increasingly difficult obstacles. Its physics-based controls capture the tension of navigating as a breakable egg, blending humor with challenge in equal measure.
