Armstrong-Potomac 2, Heritage 0. Tinley Parkerson had seven kills and five assists, Elie Lomax had seven digs and Isabel Bullingtonhad 10 digs to help the Trojans (1-0) past the Hawks (0-2) by a margin of 25-19, 25-8.

In boys' soccer

Iroquois West 6. Kankakee Trinity 3. Three goals from Keylan Leon, two goals from Axel Andrade and one goal from Landen Kraft led the host Raiders (1-1) in a victory against the Eagles in a nonconference match. Sam Melgozasaved three shots for Iroquois West.St. Joseph-Ogden 5, Uni High 3. Tyler Hess scored three goals, Zach Harper scored one goal and Buddy Stevens added another score to guide the host Spartans (3-0) past the Illineks (1-1) in nonconference play. Robert Tuscored all three goals for the Illineks.

In boys' golf

At Beecher. Iroquois West outlasted Illinois Lutheran by a 190-226 margin in nine holes at Cardinal Creek Golf Course, with Brody Muellercapturing the medalist spot for the Raiders at 40.At Bloomington. LeRoy carded a collective 156 to best Ridgeview (173), Tri-Valley (184) and Olympia (195) at Highland Park Golf Course, with LeRoy's Sam Edmundson and Ridgeview's Tanner Maupin tying for medalist honors at 38. LeRoy also received strong rounds from Brycen Umstaddt (39), Jordan Cox (39) and Tate Harden(40).At Danville. St. Joseph-Ogden (179) defeated Armstrong-Potomac (196), Salt Fork (199) and Schlarman (207) at Danville Country Club, with the Spartans receiving low scores from Asher Pruemer (42), who finished tied with two others for medalist honors, and Graham Ray (45). Salt Fork's Cooper Burton and Armstrong-Potomac's Luke Townsend joined Pruemer as individual medalists, while Jonas Laneled Schlarman at 47.At Danville. Rantoul/Paxton-Buckley-Loda carded a collective 174 to best Westville (182) and Danville (193) in a nine-hole match at Harrison Park Golf Course, with Spencer Stockwill (41) and Eli Donaldson (42) leading the winning charge. Ben Johnson led Westville at 44 and Brody Boydtopped Danville at 42.At Decatur. Monticello scored a collective 173 to best Sullivan (176) and St. Teresa (190) and Hickory Point Golf Course, with Max Henrard leading the Sages at 40 and Kiptyn Smithpacing the Redskins at 42.At El Paso. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley bested El Paso Gridley 179-183 at El Paso Country Club, with Cornerstone competing on an individual basis, as well. Dayne Whiteled the Falcons at 40 to earn medalist honors.At Marshall. Villa Grove's Will Schweighart and Heritage's Anthony Happ each carded a 36 to earn co-medalist honors in a four-team match at Marshall Golf Course. The Blue Devils won the nine hole event at a collective 170, followed by Marshall (185), Heritage (187) and Tri-County (210). Bentley Dudleyscored a 51 to lead the Titans.

In girls' golf

At Beecher. Iroquois West defeated shorthanded Illinois Lutheran by default in a nine-hole match at Cardinal Creek Golf Course, with Iroquois West's Kaia Kimmelshooting the lowest round of the day at 41.At Decatur. Monticello defeated Sullivan 179-218 at Hickory Point Golf Course, with Cate Sanders and Isabella Beery each scoring rounds of 41 to lead the Sages and Devon Richardson and Kate Bushueeach producing rounds of 43 to lead the Redskins.At Marshall. Villa Grove topped Marshall by a 211-246 margin at Marshall Golf Course, with Ella Schweighartearning medalist honors at 41.At Sheldon. Watseka (207) took down Milford (278) and Donovan and Kankakee (no team scores) in a nine-hole match at Shewami Country Club.
