Police are investigating a Tuesday morning crash involving a scooter near two Miami Gardens schools, reports say.

The crash happened near Northwest Seventh Avenue and 194th Street, just minutes from Miami Norland Senior High School and Norland Elementary School.

Footage captured by Local 10 showed first responders preparing to airlift someone who was injured on the scene.

Investigators have yet to confirm how many vehicles were involved in the crash or how many people were injured.

Drivers should avoid Northwest Seventh Avenue as police are investigating the crash.
