A United Airlines passenger who had biohazard diarrhea that led to flight cancellations blamed an undercooked hamburger for this drama.
29-year-old actress Meghan Reinertsen, who hails from Atlanta, Georgia, shared more about how she spent the last 90 minutes locked inside a lavatory during a flight from Newark to Indianapolis.
She went public about the matter through TikTok one month ago and even provided more details during the interview with the Daily Mail on Thursday.
The key mistake that triggered this horrifying explosion was taking several bites of a bloody patty, which gave her serious food poisoning, she added.
'I had eaten a part of the undercooked burger hours before I left to get back to Indiana'- she shared. She only took a few bites but knew immediately that something was off. This burger was bought at the resort where she had been staying as a nanny for a loved one who happened to be on vacation at the time.
'I don't want to out the resort'- she shared. "It was a really nice hotel," she mentioned. Before boarding the flight, she mentioned that her stomach was rumbling really badly, and she knew instantly that something was not right.
During the flight, she rushed in time to reach the bathroom, nearly soiled herself, and sat down to witness the most diarrhea that any human should ever experience in a single setting.
She also began vomiting at the same time and screamed for help, and that's when the crew knew she needed serious help. The pilot was informed, and he made an emergency landing. 'It was so bad, I had to sit on the toilet seat for a while'- she continued.
