To the editor: This Mother's Day weekend food drive was a huge success.

Thank you to the community for being so generous and supporting their neighbors and friends.

Thank you to the post office and United Way for organizing, collecting and distributing the food to the food pantries. Our shelves were very low on supplies, and the food we received helped fill them.

We are all very fortunate to live in such a caring community. Thank you all.
