A Leitrim Councillor says there are logistical challenges facing the visually impaired when it comes to making their way around Manorhamilton.

Independent councillor raised the issue at this weeks of the Manorhamilton MD.

Councillor Mitchell explained to the meeting that guide dog's training doesn't prevent them from walking into traffic.

He says simple solutions could be used in the Public realm area of the town to alleviate these challenges for those visually impaired.
