Broken Bow advanced to the finals of the C1-8 girls sub district basketball tournament. The Lady Indians fell behind early but fought back to claim a 48-44 win. Broken Bow had two players finish in double figures led by Jayden Gaffney with 12 points and Charlee Myers finished with 11th. Broken Bow will play Milford for the sub district championship. The top seed Milford rolled past Cozad 70-21. The sub district championship game is scheduled for Friday tipping off at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com.

Anselmo-Merna claimed the D2-7 sub district championship with a 52-29 win over Central Valley. Nine players scored for Anselmo-Merna. The Lady Coyotes were led by Makenna Miller who scored a team high 11 points. With the win, Anselmo-Merna advances to the Class D2 district finals next week.

Mullen claimed the D2-10 sub district title with a 47-38 win over Paxton. With the win, Mullen advances to the district finals.

Pleasanton and Burwell will play each other Friday for the D1-8 sub district title at Pleasanton. The top seed Pleasanton held off Ansley/Litchfield on Thursday 52-40 and Burwell got past Twin Loup 47-34

Gothenburg claimed the C1-9 sub district title with a 54-46 win over Central City. With the win, Gothenburg advances to the Class C1 district finals.
