Altercation with mail carrier leads to arrest of Buffalo man

The USPS delivered its new mail trucks to replace the aging fleet. The first electric trucks are now on mail routes in Georgia.

A Buffalo man has been arrested in connection with an altercation with a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier, the Buffalo Police Department reported.

Kenneth Livingston, 37, was charged with second-degree harassment. Police said he is accused in connection with a verbal dispute with a mail carrier that turned physical about 10:45 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of Doat Street in the Schiller Park neighborhood.

According to the report, the suspect drove away from the scene after the incident and witnesses provided C District officers with a description of the vehicle. A vehicle matching the description was stopped a short time later by Cheektowaga Police and Livingston was taken into custody without incident.
