Following the stable release last month, the first update to Android 15 is rolling out with the November security patch for the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Tablet, Fold, 8, 8 Pro, 8a, 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold.
It's no longer guaranteed that Pixel updates arrive on the first Monday of the month, but that's still usually when they are released. As such, this middle-of-the-week release is somewhat unexpected.
There are 21 security issues resolved in the Android 15 November patch dated 2024-11-01 and 23 for 2024-11-05. Vulnerabilities range from high to critical. CVE-2024-43047 (Kernel) and (CVE-2024-43093) Elevation of privilege "may be under limited, targeted exploitation."
The dedicated bulletin for Google devices lists xxx additional security fixes.
