COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A 65-year-old man from Farmington Hills has been charged with murder in the shooting death of an Oakland County restaurant manager.
It happened Sunday, Nov. 16, at the Prime 7 restaurant on Cooley Lake Road in Commerce Township. First responders found Francesk Shkambi, 44, of Howell, lying on the patio outside the restaurant.
He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Shortly after the shooting, the suspect reportedly drove to the Farmington Hills Police Department and turned himself in.
On Wednesday, Nov. 19, Tonin Pjetri was charged with first-degree murder and felony firearm.
Prime 7 remains closed until Nov. 25, following Shkambi's funeral mass on Monday, Nov. 24.
If convicted, Pjetri faces the possibility of spending the rest of his life behind bars.
