When the Food Network thinks you are the best, you must be pretty good!

The Food Network is a popular American cable television network that focuses on food-related programming, such as cooking shows, baking competitions, food travel, and restaurant reviews.

Since its launch in 1993, they have become one of the leading food and lifestyle television networks in the world, with shows like "Chopped", "Beat Bobby Flay", "Worst Cooks in America", "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives".

They took on the task of naming the best food truck in each state, which is no easy task, since food trucks have become all the rage in the last several years.

There are so many fantastic food truck options in Maine, but according to the Food Network, one stands tall above all the rest.

The Lobstah Buoy located at 268 Odlin Road in Bangor, right across from The Ramada Inn, has been cranking out delicious food since 2017.

There is nothing like fresh Maine lobster, and The Lobster Buoy uses only fresh, never frozen lobster. The menu includes a variety of seafood and non-seafood selections. You can get lobster rolls in three sizes, baby buoy 2oz, quarter pound, and half pound. Also on the menu, you will find fried whole belly clams, clam strips, fish n' chips, crab rolls, sea scallops, and shrimp. All seafood selections include fresh-cut fries and coleslaw.

On the non-seafood menu, they serve up cheeseburgers, hot pastrami, and red hot dogs. Got a sweet tooth? They also offer whoopie pies, and or strawberry shortcake for dessert.

They will be open to serve you, on weekdays, from 11 am to 5 pm. The hours are subject to change later in the season, but for now, it's time to eat.
