MARIPOSA Mews, developed by Makiling Mews Corp., celebrated a historic milestone with the unveiling of its LEED for Homes Gold Certification Plaque -- officially making it the first and only condominium development in the Philippines to earn this prestigious recognition from the US Green Building Council. The event, held at the Mariposa Mews Function Room, gathered representatives from Makiling Mews Corp., Quezon City Government, Dot Property Group, Terra Solutions Realty, and media partners.

Makiling Mews executives, led by Managing Director Gerret Lim, were joined by Quezon City officials headed by Councilor Vincent Belmonte, who represented Mayor Joy Belmonte. In his welcome message, Lim emphasized the project's mission to build homes that care for people and the planet, proving that sustainability and modern living can thrive together. Councilor Belmonte commended the development for aligning with Quezon City's Climate Action Plan and global commitments as part of the C40 Cities network.
Throughout the program, company leaders highlighted Mariposa Mews' eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient systems, water-conservation features, and healthy indoor air design.
