Representatives of the emerging coalition of ANO, SPD, and the Motorists' party have agreed on a coalition deal, which they will sign on Monday, November 3rd, the day when the new Chamber of Deputies convenes for its inaugural session, ANO leader and likely future prime minister Andrej Babiš said on X.

The leaders of the three parties will meet today to discuss the allocation of key parliamentary posts and fine-tune the policy statement of the new government.

In line with constitutional tradition, President Petr Pavel on Monday formally tasked Babiš with negotiating the formation of a new government. The ANO leader is expected to submit the coalition agreement and the government's main priorities to the president in the second half of this week.
