The first trailer for 'Dead of Winter' has arrived, and it promises a gripping, snowbound survival thriller led by Oscar-winner Emma Thompson.

Thompson stars as Barb, a grieving widow embarking on a pilgrimage to scatter her late husband's ashes in the frozen wilderness of northern Minnesota, where their love story first began. But her journey takes a terrifying turn when she's caught in a blizzard and stranded far from help.

Seeking shelter, Barb discovers a remote cabin -- only to find an even darker storm inside. A young woman is being held captive by a volatile couple, played with unnerving intensity by Judy Greer and Marc Menchaca. Forced into a deadly standoff, Barb must summon every ounce of resilience, proving that the power of love and memory may be her strongest weapon against the encroaching danger.
