Help us choose the best of the best in the latest Idaho Statesman boys and girls soccer player of the week contests.

Polls close at noon Thursday. Read about all the candidates and their accomplishments below.

You can vote multiple times. This is meant to be a fun way to show support for athletes. This is not meant to be scientific.

Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

Baraka Dayi, Boise: The Brave remained undefeated with a pair of victories last week, including a 4-0 win over Kuna in which Dayi notched two goals.

Parfait Niyonkuru, Capital: The Eagles earned their first win of the season with the help of their senior midfielder, who assisted on both goals in a 2-1 victory over Rocky Mountain.

Lucas Boockholdt, Eagle: In a 2-0 win against Mountain View, Boockholdt scored one goal and assisted on the other for the Mustangs.

Gabe McGlaughlin, Weiser: Kept a clean sheet in wins over Emmett and Ambrose last week, contributing eight total saves.

Zeke Van Hofwegen, Fruitland: The junior forward had a big week, scoring both goals in a 2-2 tie with Payette and registering a hat trick in a 6-2 victory against Baker, Oregon.

Ian Alvarez, Parma: The Panthers remained atop the 4A SRV standings with wins over Ambrose and Payette as Alvarez contributed three goals and two assists.

Makai Venegas, Nampa: The junior forward helped the Bulldogs go 2-1 on the week, scoring two goals and adding an assist.

Alexa Zierenberg, Owyhee: Racked up five goals in a 12-1 win at Meridian, and scored two more in a 9-0 victory vs. Ridgevue.

Dilynn Revelle, Rocky Mountain: Recorded hat tricks against Meridian and Capital to lead the Grizzlies to a pair of conference wins.

Belle Wright, Centennial: Made the scoresheet on all five goals in a 5-0 win over Ridgevue, scoring three herself and assisting two more.

Stella Jones, Eagle: Headed in a goal to earn a 1-1 tie vs. Timberline for the freshman's third goal in three games.

Elsie Wyatt, Middleton: Netted three goals and added two assists to lead the Vikings to wins over Twin Falls (3-0) and Canyon Ridge (5-1).

Danielle Hensley, Ridgevue: Averages nine tackles and 12 clearances or interceptions per game, while winning 8-of-10 one-on-one duals to anchor the Warhawks' defense.

Aarey Harris, Parma: Scored her first career goal against Homedale and then followed it with a hat trick in a 9-4 win at Payette.

Lydia Lindsey, Fruitland: Finished with a hat trick and an assist in a 16-0 win vs. Payette, then added two more goals in a 5-3 victory over La Grande, Oregon.
