Ministry of Education Celebrates Guyana's Outstanding CSEC and CAPE Performers
(November 6, 2025) - The Ministry of Education proudly extends its warmest congratulations to all of Guyana's top-performing students at the 2025 Caribbean Examination's Council's Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE).
Minister of Education, Hon. Sonia Parag, joins the nation in celebrating these exceptional young people whose dedication, talent, and perseverance have brought great pride and inspiration to their schools, families, and communities across Guyana.
"These achievements speak to the hard work and resilience of our students, the commitment of their teachers, and the steadfast support of parents," Minister Parag said. "You have represented your schools and your country with distinction. The Ministry will continue to invest in ensuring that every child in Guyana has the opportunity to reach their full potential."
At the CSEC level, Guyana's students have once again proven themselves among the best in the Caribbean. Their exceptional results are a testament to their discipline, intellect, and the unwavering support of their teachers.

2nd place regionally in Integrated Science (General)
* Sydney Waveney Morgan - Chase's Academic Foundation
4th place regionally in Integrated Science (General)
* Clarice Klee La Fargue - The Bishops' High School
6th place regionally in Integrated Science (General)
The Ministry also recognizes the stellar achievements of students across subjects such as Agricultural Science, Economics, Chemistry, English A, and Mathematics. Guyana has dominated as the top performer for Portuguese after having introduced it to the curriculum in 2015. Similarly, students performed excellently in Religious Education.
Guyana's CAPE scholars continue to shine brilliantly, displaying excellence in fields ranging from the sciences and technology to the arts and humanities.
