'HELP!' Jersey Mike's worker finds note in trash from wrestler's kidnapped victim, police

NAVARRE, Fla. (WKRC) - A Jersey Mike's employee allegedly found a note in a bathroom trashcan left by a professional wrestler's girlfriend that claimed she had been kidnapped and abused by her boyfriend.

According to a press release from the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office, an employee at a Jersey Mike's found a note in the bathroom that indicated the writer "was being held against her will at a nearby residence and feared for her life."

After reviewing security camera recordings, officers reportedly learned that the note was written by a woman who entered the store with her boyfriend, 34-year-old Jordan Williams. The release noted that the victim and Williams had been the subject of multiple prior domestic abuse calls.

According to an arrest report obtained by Law&Crime, the note read "Please help me get home! HELP! Get me before May 30th!" She also reportedly said that Williams' parents were helping him keep her in the home.

Williams was reportedly a professional wrestler in a local circuit who went by the name Jayden Steele.

Officers went to the address written on the note and found the victim inside, who confirmed that she had written the note, per the release.

"She detailed repeated assaults, threats involving weapons, and being held in isolation by Williams for a span of several months," the release read. "Deputies observed visible injuries, and the victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment of suspected broken bones and other trauma."

Williams was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and false imprisonment, felony and misdemeanor battery, and battery by strangulation.
