Married at First Sight UK is poised to make its comeback following a significant scheduling shake-up.
The E4 reality programme, now in its tenth series, will launch on Sunday, September 21 at 9pm and will broadcast four evenings weekly - spanning Sundays to Wednesdays - throughout its opening weeks.
Previously, episodes were shown from Mondays to Thursdays.
The Sun revealed that producers are pledging increased drama to rival last year's series, which saw Kristina Goodsell learning her husband resided in woodland and sported dentures before their eventual separation.
The 2024 run also showcased participants Sacha and Ross, the show's first deaf contestant, who parted ways two weeks post-filming after struggling to agree on living arrangements.
This year's fresh faces include Divarni Groce Balogun, a London-based performer and musician.
Divarni has previously starred in numerous Netflix projects, including Half Bad, Riches and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, alongside Marvel's 2023 blockbuster The Marvels.
He also appeared on ITV's Dinner Date in 2021, performing under his stage moniker Ashley.
During the programme, he vied with four other contestants for an opportunity to secure a date with reality personality Chloe Brockett, recognised for her role on The Only Way Is Essex.
Divarni has branded himself a "ladies' man" with passions spanning from penning poetry to viewing Marvel movies.
Another participant, Julia-Ruth Smith, is equally familiar with television appearances. Julia-Ruth, who featured in the ninth season of 'Are You the One?' in 2023 and has a background as a backing dancer for rapper 50 Cent, is set to appear in the new series of MAFS UK.
The upcoming series will introduce a fresh format change, promising more behind-the-scenes action than ever before.
For the first time, viewers will be privy to every stage of the contestants' journey, including their hen and stag parties, leading up to the weddings.
A telly insider revealed to The Sun: "The programme makers know that the process on MAFS already delivers some sensational moments, but this will just add to that."
They added: "Because even in the most conventional of marriage paths the hen and stag dos are often the flashpoints when there are tears, fights and maybe even some moments of temptation.
"Capture all of that on camera and then throw it into the mix and you have some dynamite telly and plenty of spanners being thrown in the works as the participants prepare themselves for married life to a total stranger."
Returning to guide the couples through the experiment in the new MAFS UK series are relationship experts Paul C Brunson, Charlene Douglas and Mel Schilling.
