Will Rob Gronkowski actually be good if he returns to the NFL?

The last time we saw Rob Gronkowski in an NFL uniform, the future Hall of Fame tight end was the losing end of a playoff game to the Los Angeles Rams while a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Now, there's a report that Gronk may want back in, and he's intrigued by the Denver Broncos, who are on the rise with Bo Nix at QB and Sean Payton coaching.

So the question is: can he still play?

We don't truly know. What we do know is that he was pretty darn productive at the age of 32 with 55 catches, 802 yards and six touchdowns with Tom Brady slinging the rock.

But for the answer on paper, we have to turn to his fellow Hall of Fame talent: Travis Kelce. He had a "down" year (over 823 yards and 97 catches! That's really good!) at age 35, which is exactly what Gronk is right now. So I'd say -- assuming Gronkowski gets into football shape and all that -- we could expect a pretty good season, but maybe not All-Pro stuff.
