The Huawei Nova 14 Vitality Edition boasts a 6.7-inch flat OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, providing silky-smooth visuals and crisp details. The screen also reaches a brightness of up to 1,100 nits, ideal for indoor and outdoor use.
Huawei has chosen a minimalist yet high-end design with thin bezels and frosted glass finishes on the white and blue colors, while the black one has a plain and more traditional back. The thickness of the phone is 7.15mm, and it weighs 191 grams, which is light and easy to hold.
The device is powered by HarmonyOS 5.1, the company's own operating system with its seamless UI and deep ecosystem integration. The chipset details are yet to be announced by the company, but the phone will be available in 256GB and 512GB storage variants to suit different storage requirements.
HarmonyOS 5.1 also allows for greater connectivity between devices in the Huawei ecosystem, facilitating seamless connectivity between smartphones, tablets, and wearables.
In the camera department, the Nova 14 Vitality Edition boasts a 50MP RYYB primary sensor (1/1.56'') with optical image stabilization (OIS) for clear and stable shots. This is supplemented by an 8MP ultra-wide camera to capture landscapes and group shots.
On the front, Huawei packs another 50MP sensor (1/2.5"), making it ideal for selfies, vlogs, and video calls. Both cameras promise excellent low-light performance and detailed imaging, staying true to Huawei's camera legacy.
The phone's largest highlight is its 5,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging. The combination will provide an entire day of life for even the most demanding users, with rapid top-ups when necessary. The battery life, coupled with HarmonyOS optimization, guarantees excellent endurance.
Other features include IP65 dust and water resistance, side-mounted fingerprint, IR blaster, and dual-SIM support, making the phone a balanced package.
Huawei has priced the Nova 14 Vitality Edition competitively at CNY 2,149 (around $300) for the 256GB model and CNY 2,449 (around $345) for the 512GB variant. Sales will begin on October 24 via Huawei's official Vmall store in China.
