Loosely based on the novel Sisterhood Of Dune written by Kevin J. Anderson and Herbert's son, Brian Herbert, Dune: Prophecy is set 10,000 years before Paul Atreides is born. It dives into Bene Gesserit, the sci-fi epic's powerful and mysterious political force that have supernatural control over minds and bodies.
Staring Emily Watson as Valya Harkonnen, leader of the order and Olivia Williams as her sister Tula, the series follows the siblings as they navigate the treacherous political landscape of Arrakis and contend with rival factions vying for control of the planet's valuable commodity spice.

Dune: Prophecy premiered in the US on HBO and Max at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Nov. 17. New episodes air at the same time each week, with the penultimate episode 5 scheduled to arrive on Dec. 15. This season will have a total of six episodes.
