COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Lexington County deputies arrested one person Saturday night after a shooting took the life of a young man in West Columbia.

The shooting happened at the Riverbend Apartments off North Lucas Street late Saturday night.

Deputies have not yet released the name of the suspect who has been arrested.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identified the victim as Mr. Bradley Freeman Tucker, who was pronounced dead on the scene due to multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

The coroner says an autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at MUSC in Charleston, SC.

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department and the Lexington County Coroner's Office have confirmed that they will continue investigating this incident.
