Looking for a Distraction for the Kids? Here Are 3 Music Videos to Stream for Children

Being a parent is exhausting. As some have said, as soon as you have your first baby, you'll never be bored again. Well, sometimes you want to be bored. Or sometimes you at least want to have a break to be able to use the freaking bathroom! But where can you turn in these instances? Where are some videos that you can put on for a brief respite?

Here below, we wanted to explore three offerings that our friends on YouTube have provided for parents and kids in need of a few minutes. Whether that be a few minutes of distraction (for the kids) or a break (for the parents), these videos provide it. So sit back and enjoy that well-earned break. These are three music videos to stream for children.

Dancing fruit were never so captivating! This nearly 20-minute offering from the musical and visual brand Hey Bear Sensory is catnip for kids. The instrumentation, different flavors of sound, and pleasant pictures on screen are just charming and drawing. This is one of many videos from the outfit and if you dig it, check out more, including under the sea videos with dancing pearls and other videos with these familiar fruit. Plus the faces on the fruit are so smiley, they're bound to put you in a better mood!

This video showcases a number of food items that are all grouped in different colors -- white milk, white onions; brown bread, brown potatoes; red beans, red lobster -- and puts them to an acoustic-driven jingly song. With pleasant harmonies and lots of images of cartoon foods to stare at, this is one that will certainly get your kid's attention and it's fun for parents to sing along to for about four solid, happy minutes. Also it provides some nice trivia for those who might ask, "What's your favorite blue food?"

Catchy and repetitive, this video works as both a tool to teach infants about numbers and a way to watch fun little cartoon numbers jumping on a bed. A familiar song with monkeys replaced here by numbers, this is a video that will surely please your little ones for a little over four minutes. But feel free to play it over and over and over again while you get that sandwich your grumbling stomach so desperately needs. After all, as a parent you deserve it!
