Bangladesh are in a strong position after day one of their second Test against Ireland in Mirpur as they sit 292-4 in their first innings.
Mushfiqur Rahim ended the day on 99 not out, with Litton Kumer Das, the other unbeaten batter on 47.
After Bangladesh won the toss, Shadman Islam and Mahmudul Hasan Joy put on 52 for the first wicket, before Shadman was out lbw to the bowling of Andy McBrine after a review.
Joy followed his fellow opener to the pavilion for 34 to leave the hosts 83-2 and Najmul Hossain Shanto was next to go soon after for eight.
A fourth-wicket partnership of 107 between Mominul Haque (63) and Mushfiqur put their side in the driving seat once again at 202-4, before the former became McBrine's fourth victim of the day when he was clean bowled.
Mushfiqur and Das added a further 90 before close of play to consolidate Bangladesh's dominance.
The home side won the first Test between the sides by an innings and 47 runs.
The Test series will be followed by three T20 internationals.
