Taiwan's top 10 Halloween parties in 2025 | Taiwan News | Oct. 21, 2025 19:47

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) -- With Halloween creeping around the corner, Taiwan News has summoned 10 bone-chilling events across Taiwan for goblins, ghouls, and gremlins eager to haunt the night.

Unlike previous years, many events are split over two weekends, with many being held on Oct. 25 and 26 and others on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Notably, there will be a showing of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" on Halloween to mark the 50th anniversary of the film.

Children's events

17th annual Tianmu Halloween Festival, Taipei

The 17th annual Tianmu Halloween Festival will get underway with the "Hundred Ghosts Night Parade" at 7 p.m. on Friday. Children can trick or treat at 250 participating stores from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday. Festivities include booths at Tianmu Sports Park and activities at participating stores Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, Sogo Tianmu, and the Dayeh Takashimaya Department Store.

Times: Trick or treat from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Children's Amusement Park

The Children's Amusement Park is holding its "Halloween Town" event from Oct. 1 to Nov. 16, with the park decorated in a Halloween theme. From Friday to Sunday (Oct. 24 to 26), admission will be free for those who are wearing costumes, with snacks and game cards available for children under 12.

Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Leofoo Village Theme Park, Hsinchu County

From Sept. 6 until Nov. 20, Hsinchu County's Leofoo Village Theme Park is holding "The Undead Waltz: Renee's Masquerade." Its Tombstone Town will feature parades during the day and night, while Halloween-themed snacks are available throughout.

It features a new haunted house, "Curse Mine," and visitors who are in costume can get a discounted admission and the chance to compete in a contest with prizes such as a one-night stay at the resort. Children can trick or treat on weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Time: Daily afternoon parade at 2 p.m. and evening performance at 7 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays

2023 Hai'an Halloween Party, Tainan

A costume parade will be open to everyone, from adults to children, and even pets. Hai'an Road will transform into a costume carnival with those participating in the costume competitions on Saturday and Sunday eligible to win prizes and souvenirs.

Attendees can also enjoy live performances, browse the market, and sample from the wide selection of food and beverage options.

Time: 3:10 p.m. to 10 p.m.

E-DA Theme Park, Kaohsiung

The park will feature a Halloween theme from Sept. 27 to Oct. 26 as well as parades and performances. For every two people who enter in costume, one can enter at a discounted price of NT$15 (US$0.48).

Time: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and extended to 8 p.m. on Saturdays.

Tiger Mountain - Resurrected Halloween Party 15: Ghouls Gone Wild

Tiger Mountain will be the scene of "Resurrected 16: Disco of the Dead" on Saturday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The event features three costume contests with US$20,000 in cash prizes in categories including group, sexy, and individual.

DJs on three stages will play hip-hop, techno, house, Latin grooves, and vinyl. Tickets can be purchased on KKTix and or FamiPort.

2025 MAJI "House of Horrors Halloween"

A trick-or-treating event for children concluded on Oct. 20. For adults, DJs will be playing from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Nov. 1 under the large white tent in Maji Square.

In addition, there will be a drag queen show and cocktails, and "creepy shot syringes" will be provided by Tiki Taipei, which will host Halloween events of its own on Friday and Saturday.

Barcade Insert Coin to Survive Halloween AYCD Night

Tickets for Barcade's Halloween party will include unlimited drinks, including gin and tonic, sangria, Taiwan Beer, hard lemon tea, and "spooky cocktails." The DJ will be spinning house, hip-hop, and everything in between.

True to its name, the venue also features arcade games as well as foosball, darts, and a pool table.

Brass Monkey Hollywood Horror Halloween Party

Brass Monkey will hold a costume contest with NT$2,500 prizes awarded for the "sexiest" and "best dressed" categories. Women enter free with or without a costume, but if they wear one, they will enjoy free drinks from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Men must pay an NT$300 entry fee but get two drinks with a costume or one without. DJs Planet GQ & Del Vibe "will keep the dance floor alive," while there will also be a photo booth and Halloween drink specials.

Rocky Horror Picture Show: 50th Anniversary Halloween Party

Time Warp Taiwan will host a showing of the cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" to mark the movie's 50th anniversary. The film will be shown in Ximen's Shin Kong Cinemas, and the dress code is to either arrive as a character from the film or wearing "any fabulous, scary, or awesome costume."

Tickets must be purchased in advance at KKtix.
