Vicky Pattison may be preparing for her Strictly Come Dancing debut, but it appears thing aren't so sparkly in her personal life as she revealed a road incident following an awkward encounter.
The reality star and presenter took to social media on Friday (September 19) to reveal that she was travelling on the M25 when a lorry pushed the vehicle she was travelling in off the road.
Posting an exasperated selfie to Instagram, Vicky told her followers: "Never a dull moment... A lorry just swerved on the M25 and pushed us off the road."
She went on to confirm: "No one is hurt and the traffic officers are here, but crikey... it was a bit intense. Wear your seatbelt, kids [heart emoji]."
It comes after Vicky shared an update on how her week has been going, having headed into training for her first Strictly routine alongside her professional dance partner.
The former Geordie Shore star and her fellow contestants will be seen making his first appearance in the famous Strictly ballroom this Saturday (September 20) as the pre-recorded launch show airs.
The first show of the 2025 series will see hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman welcome the new Strictly stars on the dance floor before they meet their professional partner for the first time.
There will also be a number of other Strictly treats and surprises, including a sizzling group routine from the show's talented pros, before the first live show of the series airs the following week (September 27), which is when the new couples will take to the floor for their first dance.
Following another day of rehearsals, Vicky took to her Instagram Story on Thursday (September 18) and said: "I've had rehearsals all day, a couple of hours in the studio at Heart and now FIVE Ubers cancel on me... (Before you start, it's not my rating... I am a MODEL passenger [crying laughing emoji])."
She then revealed: "So I'm eating crisps just off Leicester Square and no less than two American tourists have tried to give me money... how tired do I look man???"
It comes after Vicky recently shared that heading into the Strictly ballroom is a huge professional, but also personal, achievement. Speaking to the Manchester Evening News at the show's press launch, she said: "I think everyone is handling us with kid gloves at the minute. I keep getting loads of cuddles off everyone. I thought I was doing a good job of hiding it but obviously not.
"I'm just out of my comfort zone and it's really scary when you're out your comfort zone. And I'm a little bit emotional about how fast it's all going and honestly, I think it's because I've wanted to do this show for so long and I'm a big fan."
The 37-year-old added: "I've watched it as a viewer and always gone, 'Wouldn't that be amazing?' and now I'm here, I'm so desperate to make the most of it, to have a brilliant time. I'm worried I'll get in my own head."
