Sony has taken to its PlayStation Blog again, and this time it isn't announcing price increases across the PS5 hardware lineup like it did last go around, this time it's all about deals. Just after wrapping up a pair of sizable summer sales featuring thousands of PS5 games and DLC, PlayStation is back at it again with another gigantic PlayStation Store event.

Looking to take us out of the summer months and into the fall, Sony has now announced the launch of its Ready, Set, Play promotion.

It announced the event late last night, but it is scheduled to go live today on the PlayStation Store and it's another big one.

"PlayStation Store welcomes an all-new promotion, starting August 27. For a limited time, Ready, Set, Play will offer a vast selection of games," including everything from big AAA blockbusters and lauded indies right through to older titles to shore up your PS5 library.

The sale will run from now through September 10 and includes over 2,700 titles and DLC add-on packs for games you might already own as well. You can get a look at just some of the games now live as part of the sale in the gigantic list down below.

This sale comes on the heels of the August PlayStation Plus Monthly freebies you still have time to claim. This include the wonderful Soulslike Lies of P as well as Day Z and My Hero One's Justice 2 - all of the details you need on those await right here.
