Bats can transmit rabies to people through saliva, which can come into contact with human skin while biting. Thankfully, Charles Robinson was able to make it to a hospital quickly...even if it took four hours to see him.
Charles Robinson was given Human Rabies Immune Globulin (HRIG) and the rabies vaccine. The star will need to get another shot of the rabies vaccine three, seven, and fourteen days after the shot.
