Novak Djokovic is explaining his decision to skip a traditional interview.

The 37-year-old tennis player posted an explanation video on social media after he skipped the post-game interview after defeating Jiri Lehecka at the 2025 Australian Open on Sunday (January 19) at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion only shared words of gratitude to fans in his post-match interview with Jim Courier without answering any questions. Fans booed him for leaving so quickly, but it turns out that it had to do with him being offended by broadcaster Tony Jones.
