STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Five people were arrested on drug and firearm charges after a search warrant was executed in Bridgeport Friday, according to Stratford police.

Police said their Nov. 8 search warrant seized narcotics packaging materials, cocaine, crack-cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana, ecstasy, PCP, firearm ammunition and $1,126.00 from a "Success Village Apartments" unit.

The search warrant stemmed from a month-long investigation initiated in Stratford. Stratford's NVI unit was assisted by about 15 police officers from the Bridgeport Police Task Force and Bridgeport DEA office.
