Tom Brady witnessed firsthand the disaster that is his QB Geno Smith with the Las Vegas Raiders

NFL. The Dallas Cowboys pay tribute to Marshawn Kneeland: Stickers, jerseys, and a somber moment of silence

What looked like a season that was going to change everything for the Las Vegas Raiders has, after 11 weeks, produced a record (2-8) that tells a completely different story. This time, the Dallas Cowboys were the ones who exposed the team's weaknesses, with a Geno Smith who apparently cannot lead the offense and is, as of today, one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL.

It sounds surreal, but the very team in which Tom Brady is a minority owner does not have a quarterback who can shine or salvage the season. On this occasion, the man many consider the GOAT was in Las Vegas to watch this offense fall apart piece by piece.

The Dallas Cowboys defense-one of the worst in the entire league-intercepted Geno Smith, bringing his season total to 13 interceptions, tying him with Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins. The only difference is that the Raiders' quarterback has played one fewer game (10) than Tua (11) this year.

That's a worrying figure for a team trying to find any kind of consistency. One of the last things the coaching staff wants is to keep trading possessions, and that's exactly where Geno Smith has repeatedly failed.

It would be interesting to know what Tom Brady thinks about all this-a man regarded as the greatest ever at the position who could certainly guide Smith in the right direction, knowing that many factors can contribute to this trend.

The truth is that the Raiders are a long way from being a contender, and it may take a very long time before they are. They remain in a rebuild that, to the misfortune of the fans, will last a lot longer.
