D.J. Reed, Michael Carter Highlight Jets' Injury Report

The New York Jets entered the 2024 regular season the healthiest they have been in years at this point.

It only took one week but that health has been challenged already.

Both starting cornerbacks D.J. Reed and Michael Carter II found themselves on the injury report with knee and ankle issues respectively. Both players were limited in practice Wednesday afternoon because of that, but head coach Robert Saleh stated that both will be playing in Sunday's contest against the Tennessee Titans.

Reed and Carter were targeted more than All-Pro Sauce Gardner during the team's 32-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

New York had Mike Williams and Michael Clemons on the injury report with their own injuries but both were listed as full participants during practice as well - a walkthrough.

Javon Kinlaw was away from the team due to a personal reason that was not disclosed by the organization overall.

As New York prepares for the second contest of the season against the Titans, having their secondary fully together for another week is very important.

Reed and Carter are going to be limited in practice overall this week but having them ready to go for the weeks ahead is very important.
