A Princeton Posse forward is among the top scorers in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.
In 13 games, Bryton Morrow, from Ardrossan, Alta., has accumulated 26 points, with 13 goals and 13 assists.
"Bryton's obviously been playing pretty well. He's been contributing offensively for us, and it's been great to have," said Colin Minardi, Princeton Posse head coach-general manager.
"It's been great to also watch as a bit of a fan too -- some of the things that he can do are impressive."
He added that Morrow has been working to improve his game.
"He's come a long way mentally, and when you pair mental toughness with his skill set and ability, there's going to be a level of success. I'm proud of him for focusing on what he needs to, and I'm excited to see where he can get to this season," Minardi said.
"I've definitely arrived with a little bit of confidence and swagger, which really helps my game a lot," Morrow said. "I have a lot of highs going, so it's just easy to go out there, have fun, and play my best."
At the start of the season, Morrow had played 79 regular season career games and had 34 goals and 56 assists for 91 points.
His 100th career season point came on Oct. 1 with. a hat-trick during a 4-1 victory over the Osoyoos Coyotes.
Minardi said Morrow has been developing his mental focus in the game, and has become more effective as a result. His practices have focussed on awareness and composure.
"I would say he's probably enjoying this year a little bit more than last, just based on the conversations I've had with him," Minardi said.
Morrow hopes to pay at the collegiate level and has already had programs from three leagues expressing interest in him.
