WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- A Kansas highway was shut down Monday afternoon after a truck left the roadway and ended up in a pond.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said it happened on K-39 in Wilson County between U.S. Highway 400 and U.S. Highway 75. A semitruck hauling an empty flatbed trailer left the highway for an unknown reason and ended up in a pond.

Troopers said the driver was not hurt and was able to crawl safely out of the cab. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
