Swedish athlete Armand Duplantis breaks world pole vault record with 6.30m in Tokyo.

On that occasion, Duplantis set a new world record, an incredible 6.30m.

The popular "Mondo" broke the world record for the 14th time, the fourth time this year.

Duplantis secured victory with a jump of 6.15m, and then on the third attempt he managed to jump 6.30m and thus push the boundaries in this discipline.

By one centimeter he improved his own world record, which he set on August 12 at a meeting in Budapest.

In his career, Duplantis has three world golds and one silver, two Olympic golds and three European golds.

Greek Emmanouil Karalis (6.00) has won second place in Tokyo, while Australian Kurtis Marschall (5.95) finished third among pole vaulters.
