The Usos, Jimmy and Jey, made separate entrances at WWE's Crown Jewel Kickoff event. But when they stood together in the ring with announcer Michael Cole, the duo that dominated WWE for over a decade looked more united than ever.
"It feels great to have my big brother Jimmy back together again. Jimmy and Jey, The Usos," said Jey as the fans in Saudi Arabia chanted their names in unison. Jimmy played to the crowd, pausing to let them shout "YEET" before stating he was happy about reuniting with his brother.
However, trust remains an issue. Jimmy cost Jey several championship opportunities in the past, a fact Cole mentioned. Despite their previous beef, Jey has no concerns about Jimmy, saying, "'Big' Jim, moving forward today, I do trust my twin brother 100%."
While the Usos seem to have found common ground, tensions with their cousin, Roman Reigns, linger. Without revealing details from tonight's pre-taped episode of SmackDown, Jimmy voiced uncertainty about their renewed partnership, saying, "The play that is called, we need to run it. Are we gonna run it together? I'm not sure."
The bigger question, however, is how will Jey and Roman coexist. Jey admitted he's unsure if they will be on the same page at Crown Jewel, saying he won't know until they face off against their younger brother, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga, while Tonga Loa watches from ringside. He acknowledged that there are still unresolved issues between them but remains committed to his family despite his lack of trust in Reigns.
" I just don't know if I can fully trust the Tribal Chief 100% yet," said Jey.
