The big news was the status of Ja'Marr Chase, who was questionable to play today after being limited in practice this week following his hold-in. Chase also had an illness designation added on Saturday.
As it turns out, Chase will play today, so his hold-in appears to be completely over, for now anyway.
Another positive development is rookie Jermaine Burton being active. A recent report suggested Burton had a ways to go in his acclimation to the NFL, enough that it appeared he'd be inactive for Game 1, but he's going to suit up and make his debut today.
