Vice President JD Vance offered his take on working with Donald Trump during a largely softball Fox News interview with Lara Trump, the president's daughter-in-law.
When asked what has been "the most surprising part of being his vice president," Vance replied: "Oh, there's so many surprising things."
But one trait stood out. "One thing I've learned just working with him every day is, he doesn't have an off switch," said Vance, adding Trump will "call you at 12:30 or at 2 in the morning, then he'll call you at 6 in the morning on about a totally different topic."

"It's like, 'Mr. President, did you go to sleep last night? Like, what is going on here?'" Vance added.
Other Trump officials have made similar claims.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said last month that Trump calls him "three or four times a week" about health policy. In July, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick revealed Trump often rings him most nights around 1 a.m., just after Lutnick gets in bed. Reports of Trump's late-night dialing date back years, with details of his chats with Fox News' Sean Hannity emerging in 2018.
