Thirty six hats for premature babies have been donated to a North Yorkshire hospital thanks to a new Young Farmers competition.
The Yorkshire Federation of Young Farmers created the new contest to crochet a hat for a premature baby for this year's annual County Rally.
Hats of all colours and designs were created by members aged ten to 28-years-old, and were displayed on the Young Famers stand at the Great Yorkshire Show in July.
The Yorkshire Agricultural Society's President Consort, Hilda Walmsley, did the judging.

The hats were recently gifted to the Special Care Baby Unit at Harrogate District Hospital.
Rebecca Keay, chair of the promotion and skills committee of Yorkshire Young Farmers, said: "Members from across our 43 clubs crafted some fantastic hats and it was great to be able to donate them to such a special and worthwhile cause."
In total there were 36 hats donated. The winning exhibit at the Great Yorkshire Show was created by Eva Fawcett from Stokesley YFC, with Jayne Ellis from Winksley Cum Grantley in second place and Chloe Barker from Masham in third.
Rebecca said: "Young Farmers Clubs do a lot for charities including tractor runs, Christmas tree collections and much more, but this was a different activity to normal and demonstrated our members' skills and talents."
