'English Teacher' Season 2 Sets Fall Premiere Date on FX and Hulu 2 days ago
Andrew Santino's next stand-up special, "White Noise," will debut on Hulu on Sept. 12. The comedian and "Bad Friends" and "Whiskey Ginger" podcast host dropped a trailer for the upcoming hour.
In the 45-second clip, Santino jokes about taking his dad to a Monday Night Football game and drinking copious amounts of alcohol. "We're sitting at the bar, just my dad and I ... and he looks over at me, you know how a dad can look over at you sometimes, using that smile, that twinkle in his eye," Santino says. "I'm waiting for him to say he loves me, and he goes, 'I'm pissing right now.'"
"White Noise" marks Santino's third stand-up special and first for Hulu, following 2023's "Cheeseburger" on Netflix and his 2017 hour, "Homefield Advantage." In addition to his stand-up, Santino is the host of three popular podcasts, "Bad Friends" with Bobby Lee, "Whiskey Ginger" and his new golf interview show "No Bad Lies."
He's also an actor best known for his roles in the FX comedy "Dave," in which he played Lil Dicky's manager, and "Ricky Stanicky" alongside John Cena and Zac Efron. Santino's credits also include Netflix's "Beef" and Showtime's "I'm Dying Up Here," plus "The Disaster Artist," "Scrambled," "Me Time," "Sin City Saints," "Mixology" and "This Is Us." He's also had guest spots in beloved sitcoms like "The Office," "Arrested Development," "The League" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
"White Noise" is part of Hulu's comedy initiative, Hularious, which has featured specials from Bill Burr, Ilana Glazer, Jim Gaffigan, Roy Wood Jr., Chris Distefano and more.
