GRESHAM, Ore. (KPTV) - Gresham and Portland Police responded to two separate shootings on Tuesday that investigators believe may be connected.

According to Gresham Police, officers responded to a shooting between two different vehicles near NE Glisan and NE 167th in Gresham on Tuesday.

Police say they believe the same group separated and came back together near Pat Phifer Park, where multiple callers said they heard gunshots and saw people with guns.

The suspects were reportedly last seen near NE 172nd and E Burnside before police arrived.

Two people from from two different scenes were taken to the hospital following the shooting.
