All the Lincolnshire restaurants on the new 2025 Michelin guide

The best restaurants across the UK have been celebrated at the 2025 Michelin Guide ceremony. More than 1,100 restaurants were honoured at the event, and there were a number of new names joining the list as well as those retaining their stars and titles.

This included the first plant-based restaurant, Plates in London. Although there were no new additions from Lincolnshire in this year's guide, four locations across the county have held on to their positions.

This includes the Auction House restaurant in Louth, the Six Bells at Witham on The Hill near Bourne, Hope & Anchor in South Ferriby and Winteringham Fields in Winteringham. Here is everything you need to know about each of the county's top spots for food and drink, including the type of food, expected prices, opening times and how many stars they have.

Auction House

Located on the Cornmarket in Louth, this charming restaurant is great for flexible dining, with a selection of small plates, larger dishes, snacks and a tasting menu available. This business, which specialises in modern British food, received a standard Michelin Guide listing in 2024, which it has retained. The Michelin website states that the prices are considered to be in the high range, but that "the cooking is flavoursome and carefully prepared".

Six Bells - Witham on The Hill

This traditional British pub is one of the more affordable options on the Michelin guide for Lincolnshire, with a price rating of ££, which means it is in the mid-range price category. This characterful village pub serves a range of fishes, including pizzas from its wood-burning oven or tempting free-range rotisserie chicken. Located on Main Street in Witham on The Hill, the charming restaurant was first awarded the coveted Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide in 2004, which they held onto until 2015. The pub then regained its Bib Gourmand in 2023, which it has retained since.

Hope & Anchor - South Ferriby

You can find the Hope & Anchor on Sluice Road in South Ferriby up in North Lincolnshire. The nautical-themed pub has beautiful views of the Humber and serves a range of traditional British dishes at an average price range. The pub uses top-quality ingredients, including fruit and vegetables from its own smallholding. The meats are aged in a glass-fronted drying cabinet and cooked in the Josper oven. The business has held onto its Michelin Bib Gourmand accolade since 2018, and has been praised for its good quality and good value cooking.

Winteringham Fields

The Witheringham Fields restaurant can be found in North Lincolnshire on Silver Street in Winteringham. The 16th-century farmhouse achieved a Michelin star in 2019 and has retained this star every year since, including in the recent 2025 guide. It has been reported as the only restaurant in the county to have the accolade. As the restaurant is surrounded by countryside, its dishes are made with local ingredients for nearby farms and regional producers. The modern cuisine is on the pricier side due to its quality, with the Michelin website rating it as ££££, which is its highest price range.
