WACO, Texas (FOX 44) - An upcoming family-friendly Halloween event is also being held for a good cause.

Fuzzy Friends Rescue is hosting its first annual HOWL-O-WEEN Bash! The event will take place this Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 6321 Airport Road.

Event organizers say the Bash will have an evening full of Halloween fun, delicious food and a "ghosty good time," which is all in support of the Fuzzy Friends mission to save animals in need.

Attendees can explore a festive pumpkin patch, enjoy treats from local food trucks and take part in many games and activities for all ages. There will also be a pet costume contest, where some rescue dogs will strut their stuff in the cutest and spookiest outfits! Be ready to cheer them on!
