FAIRFIELD -- The Armijo High School girls volleyball team earned a 27-25, 25-8, 25-11 win Wednesday night at home against Fairfield.

Chloe Fondersmith was 9-11 serving for the Royals with two aces and was 72% on serve receive. Brooklyn Talbot was 4-4 on serves with one ace, six skills and a 100% rating on serve receive. Hope Amparo also finished 20-22 serving with two aces, three kills and 17 assists.

Armijo improved to 2-0 in the Greater Sacramento League and 3-8 overall. The Royals will play at Hiram Johnson Monday with the tripleheader (freshman, junior varsity and varsity) scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.

No individual statistics were made available for the Falcons. Fairfield fell to 1-1 in the GSL and 2-2 overall. The Falcons will play at Valley Monday night in a 6:30 p.m. varsity match.
