COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Excitement is building around South Carolina's receiving corps in 2025. They have a solid group of talented veterans and a few new faces to watch out for.
One of those guys is former Irmo star Donovan Murph. He reclassified to the class of 2025 and joined the team this summer.
We saw a lot of flashy plays from Murph as a Yellow Jacket, especially in 2024. He had 96 receptions for over 13 hundred yards and 12 touchdowns as Irmo marched to a spot in the Class 5A division two championship game.
He's a local guy playing for his hometown team, just like his cousin Alshon Jeffery did almost 14 years ago. The Super Bowl champion has plenty of advice for Murph as he embarks on his own journey as a Gamecock.
