MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A resolution is on the agenda at this week's Mobile City Council meeting to provide more than $540,000 in additional money for new construction and demolition of the Civic Center.

The change order, co-sponsored by Mayor Sandy Stimpson, would authorize $540,100.73. for additional funding to the Contract for Contract Allowance overruns to the Mosaic Mural Removal Allowance and the Contract Contingency Allowance, and for hauling and stockpiling of approximately 20,000 cubic yards of surplus soil from the Civic Center site to 1309 Azalea Rd for future reuse by the City.

Also, twelve calendar days would also be added to the Period of Performance, under the change order.
