Hello and thank you for joining us! Could you provide us with an insight on the main inspirations/influences that led to your chosen career pathway in music?

"My music is deeply inspired by world ethnic instruments. Growing up listening to Middle Eastern music had a significant influence on me, shaping my appreciation for rich, organic sounds. I naturally gravitate towards blending these influences with rhythmic elements, particularly the powerful energy of African drums. This fusion creates a sound that feels both raw and hypnotic, which is at the core of my musical identity."

With versatility a key aspect in the dance scene, we would like to know how your style of play came to be?

"My style of play developed organically over the years as I explored different sounds and rhythms. I started as a producer before becoming a DJ, which gave me a unique perspective on blending genres. I draw inspiration from world music, especially Middle Eastern and African sounds, and fuse them with electronic beats to create something fresh and hypnotic. I love building a journey in my sets, balancing energy with emotion, and keeping the crowd in a constant state of movement. Adaptability is key in the dance scene, so I always stay open to new influences while maintaining my signature sound."

Fusing electronic music with traditional instruments and vocals, could you talk us through this unique approach, and the impact it has had on your career thus far?

"For me, fusing electronic music with traditional instruments and vocals is all about creating a deep, organic connection between past and future sounds. I love taking ancient, raw elements -- like Middle Eastern strings, African percussion, or tribal chants -- and blending them with modern electronic textures. This approach brings warmth and soul to my music, making it feel more alive and human. It has also set me apart in the scene. People resonate with these sounds because they feel familiar yet fresh, tapping into something primal. This fusion has helped me craft a unique identity as both a producer and DJ, opening doors to international bookings and allowing me to connect with diverse audiences. The energy that comes from mixing these worlds is something truly special."

Blessing fans alike with releases in the form of 'Baglami,' 'Akkad' and 'Nateka' when just naming a few, we would like to know the main thought process behind these tracks, and the overall message you have set out to convey through your music?

"Each of these tracks -- 'Baglami,' 'Akkad,' and 'Nateka' -- was born from a deep connection to rhythm, culture, and storytelling through sound. My thought process always starts with a feeling or a vision. I love taking traditional melodies and ethnic instruments and giving them a new life in the electronic space. For example, 'Baglami' draws from hypnotic, trance-like grooves, while 'Akkad' carries a more cinematic, tribal energy. 'Nateka' is all about movement -- raw, percussive, and uplifting. The goal is always to create a journey, something that speaks to people on a deeper level, whether they're on a dance-floor or just closing their eyes and listening. Overall, my music is about fusion -- blending tradition with the future, creating something timeless yet modern. I want people to feel transported, to connect with the sounds in a way that feels both familiar and excitingly new."

Receiving a vast array of accolades for each of your endeavours, could you talk us through the success you have achieved, and the overall feel behind this recognition?

"The journey so far has been incredible, and I'm truly grateful for the recognition my music and performances have received. Seeing my tracks played on major stages, connecting with people across different cultures, and having my work supported by respected artists in the industry -- these are the things that make it all feel surreal.Every milestone, whether it's a sold-out show, a track hitting new streaming records, or being invited to perform in new cities and countries, is a reminder of why I do this. But beyond numbers and accolades, the real success for me is the connection I build with the audience. When I see people lose themselves in the music, feeling the energy, that's the most rewarding part. This recognition also pushes me to evolve and keep pushing boundaries. I see every achievement as a step forward, not a finish line. There's still so much more to create and explore, and I'm excited for what's next."

Pushing boundaries on the constant, we would like to know the significance behind your musical exploration, and how your immense capabilities have evolved over time?

"For me, music has always been about exploration -- pushing boundaries, blending cultures, and finding new ways to express energy and emotion. I never want to stay in one place creatively; evolution is what keeps the music fresh and exciting. Over time, my capabilities have grown through experience -- both in the studio and on stage. I started as a producer, experimenting with different genres, which gave me a strong foundation in sound design and arrangement. As I started DJing (14), I learned how to read a crowd, how to build energy throughout a set, and how to adapt in real time. Performing internationally has also exposed me to different sounds and influences, which constantly shape my approach. The significance behind my musical exploration is simple -- I want to create something unique, something that resonates on a deeper level. Whether it's through blending electronic beats with traditional instruments or crafting immersive, hypnotic journeys, my goal is always to push the sound forward while staying true to my roots."

With 2025 in full flow, could you provide us with any hints on what the future holds for DJ Dali, always in terms of new music and live performances?

"2025 is already shaping up to be a huge year for me, and I couldn't be more excited about what's coming next. In terms of music, I'm working on several new tracks that continue to push my signature fusion of electronic beats with world influences. I've been experimenting with new sounds, deeper rhythms, and collaborations that will take my sound to another level. Expect some surprises, and maybe even a few unexpected elements that people haven't heard from me before. On the live side, I have some incredible shows lined up. I'm also planning more international performances and festival appearances, and I can't wait to bring my energy to new crowds around the world. Beyond that, I'm diving deeper into branding, visuals, and storytelling through my music. 2025 is all about growth, pushing boundaries, and creating unforgettable experiences -- both through my sets and through the movement I'm building. Stay tuned, because this is just the beginning. We keep riding baba."
