A messy scene unfolded Tuesday morning in the Glendale area when a truck hauling thousands of empty White Claw seltzer cans tipped over, leaving debris across the Loop 303 freeway near Northern Avenue.
"No injuries were reported," said Shawn Gilleland with Rural Metro Fire. "It looks like the driver might have taken a turn too fast."
Thousands of cans were left on the shoulder of the road and the freeway itself.
Crews were working to clear the freeway Tuesday afternoon, and it was unclear how long it would take them to clean up.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area for the time being.
